Jayeonjui (meaning Naturalism), originally launched by the Korean hypermarket E-mart, was rebranded as JAJU when it’s operations were moved to sister apparel company Shinsegae International. Marei was commissioned to direct the MD program and shop design of JAJU’s first flagship shop on Garosugil Street in Seoul with the central concept “Urban Nourishment”. Located in a trendy, incubation-type area, we cross-merchandised between a selection of existing and new products, and developed some original products to provide the “Missing Link”.
